R. Mahajan has over two decades of experience in banking, merchant banking and industrial financial management. He started his career as a probationary officer in the State Bank group. After a seventeen-year stint in the bank, he joined a Mumbai-based merchant banking company and headed its Delhi operations. He is presently the finance head of a large corporate group in Delhi. He is also a visiting faculty in several management institutes and also a consultant to some stock broking firms in Delhi.
