Susan Wright, a historian of science at the University of Michigan, USA, is Research Scientist in the University’s Institute for Research on Women and Gender. A specialist in the history and politics of biotechnology, her books include Preventing a Biological Arms Race (1990) and Molecular Politics: Developing American and British Regulatory Policy for Genetic Engineering, 1972-1982 (1994).
