More
and more contemporary traders and investors the world over use candlestick
charts in preference to the traditional bar charts. That's because candlesticks
are a fantastic way of figuring out both market direction and changes in price
trends. Candlestick charts provide clearer and quicker answers to the trader's
perennial question: "Who's controlling the market; the bulls or the
bears?" than do most other technical methods.
In
this easy-to-understand guide, Clive Lambert walks you through:
-
What
candlesticks are
-
What candles reveal about the market's state of mind
-
Major reversal and continuation patterns and,
importantly, the psychology behind each one
-
How using candlesticks in different time frames provides
traders greater meaning and insight into the ongoing price action
-
How to use candlesticks in conjunction with support and
resistance
-
Combining candlesticks with momentum for trading
-
10 golden rules of trading when using candlesticks.
This is a breezily written book about the methods and
practical application of the ancient Japanese charting technique which is now in
widespread use. It will benefit all investors, traders and market professionals,
regardless of their level of experience, or the markets they invest in or trade.
"A well-written and, above all, practical
guide to candlestick charting"
The Technical
Analyst, UK
"The use of amply-sized charts and diagrams
brings the subject to life, while the explanations are nicely and diced into
boxes and sub-sections that make the book easy (to use)"
Investors Chronicle, UK
